OUR HEADLINE EVENTS

Our four flagship events based around the French language (the Francophonie Festival), Franco-Chinese cultural cooperation (the Croisements Festival) the environment (Franco-Chinese Month of the Environment – MFCE) and literature (Fu Lei Prize) provide major opportunities for companies seeking to develop their network, increase their influence, and contribute to strengthening Franco-Chinese dialogue. And they could not exist without the support of our patrons and sponsors. Organized by the French Embassy in China and the five Consulates General based in Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shanghai, Shenyang and Wuhan, these events bring in several million spectators each year, in more than 30 cities across the country. In view of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, a series of events to celebrate sport and its values will be added this year.

Join us

You can support one of our festivals in their entirety or become a sponsor/patron for one or more programs chosen from different categories. These categories are determined by the level of prestige, the presence in one of more Chinese cities, the possibility of organising a cocktail party event, etc. Sponsorship levels are thus defined as follows: ≥180,000, ≥300,000, ≥500,000 and 850,000 RMB.

Jonathan Koon Shum Choi Foundation

For three years since 2016, my Foundation has been a key strategic sponsor of the Croisements Festival. Not only does the Festival helps promote French cultural events in China but that also champions collaborations between French and Chinese artists.  In addition to sponsoring the Croisements, the Foundation, working in close partnership with the Embassy, sponsored the first-of-its-kind exhibition, “Un rêve français – De l’École au Salon” in 2018. This exhibition is the first that gathers two of the most important French art institutions, the Centre national des arts plastique and the beaux-arts de Paris, work together in exhibiting their finest collection from the 19th century France. We will continue to act through the Foundation to strengthen the links between France and China.
